Communications Minister, Stephen Conroy, has written to critics saying that the so-called “live” trials would be “a closed network test and will not involve actual customers”

Huh?

A “live” trial – on a closed network without actual customers.

So, what’s this supposed to prove?

How dumb is Senator Conroy? Is he really this dumb? Or this maniuplative? A live trial, by definition, is done with actual customers. This trial will prove nothing. It’s a repeat of the June trials.

It’s now a total complete waste of time and money.

So when Stephen Conroy and Kevin Rudd and all the Labor Party hacks tell you that the Clean Feed will only filter out bad, evil, vile pornographic sites, now you know what they have in mind. Oh yes, Wikipedia, it’s vile. Wikipedia is the scum of the Internet, thrusting illegal porn down innocent throats.

This is why we need to say NO to the Clean Feed.

I love the opening paragraph of this story:

Support for the Government’s plan to censor the internet has hit rock bottom, with even some children’s welfare groups now saying that that the mandatory filters, aimed squarely at protecting kids, are ineffective and a waste of money.

So, Holly Doel-Mackaway, adviser with “Save the Children”, has slammed the filter. Is Conroy going to tar her with the same child-porn-advocate brush he paints other critics of the filter?
