It’s that time of year again for these types of lists.  Here’s a list from the UK’s The Guardian.
Any comments?

Silhouette Fadeins

Silhouette Fadeins | CSS-Tricks.
This is a really neat idea.  I have no idea how, but when I get around to creating a new theme, this is an idea I might want to incorporate.  The subject of the tutorial here – a band’s website – really fits this effect.

Aliens vs Predator game banned, will not be ’sanitised’ for Australia | News.com.au.

This is a brilliant idea.  It’s too bad it’s limited in coverage, with nothing sceens in Atlantic Canada participating.  Sporting events are definately better to watch in a community environment!  I hope this type of presentation comes to Australia.

No shocker: Google prefers HTML5 to Gears | Deep Tech – CNET News.
This surprised me to some extent.  I suppose that’s indicitave of how naive I am about HTML5.  I know it is something I should research more, but I still fail to see why we are going away from the XHTML families.
