Hey everyone (er, anyone?)
There’s a web service I find incredibly useful and I wanted to share with the world. It’s called MediaFly. I am usually not a big fan of “the cloud” but this is one cloud application I find incredibly useful.
So, I’ve got this long commute everyday, and I like to start off my day with a little news from home. No problem, the CBC podcasts their hourly news. But the podcast receiving software that came with my Samsung T10 is a little wonky.
MediaFly does all that I want it to do. I can set it to play once – if I heard it the next time I sync, it’s gone. I can set it to play for a few days – useful if there’s a BBC documentary I want to listen to a few times but not clutter up my player. I can set it to download only the latest episode, something I do for my Phil Hendrie Show episodes.
It is the missing software that manages my podcasts.
For free.
Check it out!

Thanks for the shout out. I work at Mediafly and it’s great to see people enjoying the service. We have lots of new stuff coming out in the coming months. Thanks!
